| The Art Department of Northwestern Regional High School is a comprehensive department committed to providing a broad range of education in the arts to meet the varied needs of students from middle through high school levels. The Art Department offers a variety of programs and teaching methods which give students a solid grounding in all elements of the visual arts and crafts. Programs are designed to foster the growth of aesthetic appreciation in everyday life as well as provide students the opportunity to explore the creatie process hands-on; it also prepares students who plan to pursue a post-secondary arts program. special emphasis is placed on challenging students to develop new ways of learning and gives the Art Department a unique ability to strengthen and enhance the critical thinking skills acquired in the traditional academic curriculum. |
