BOARD MEETINGS
2025-2026 Meetings of the Regional School District No. 7 Board of Education
This is to certify that the Regional School District No. 7 Board of Education will hold Board of Education Meetings for the year commencing January 1, 2025 on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month except for the months of July, August, and December. Regular meetings during those months will be on the second Wednesday in July, the fourth Wednesday in August, and the second Wednesday in December. Meetings will be held at 6:00 p.m. in the Newbury Library-Media Center at Northwestern Regional High School/Middle School unless otherwise stated on the agenda received prior to the meetings.
Questions or comments may be sent to publicinput@nwr7.org, and will be read and addressed, where possible, by the Chair.

GOALS FOR REGIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 7 BOARD OF EDUCATION
MISSION STATEMENT:
The Board of Education believes the public education is an essential component of a free and democratic society. In a partnership of family, school, community, and local and state government, our mission is to enable all students to meet high standards, make productive choices in their personal lives, contribute to a diverse global society and act as responsible citizens.
BOARD OF EDUCATION GOALS:
COMMITMENT OF RESOURCES:
- The Board will provide the necessary interventions, resources, and support to administrators, teachers, and staff in order to address the ongoing educational, behavioral, and social emotional effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
COLLABORATION:
- In order to ensure that the students transition smoothly into NWR7, the Board will strive to collaborate effectively with our member towns and their Boards of Education.
REFLECTION:
- The Board recognizes its responsibility to work efficiently and cooperatively to carry out its mission. We will invest effort in improving and enhancing our communication processes.
BOARD FUNCTION
- The Board will continually assess the Board of Education organization and operations to ensure that the Board is fulfilling its duty to maintain a high functioning school that best serves the interests of the community. The Board has a responsibility to do so with an informed understanding of the fiscal position of the member towns. Board members will strive to attend a variety of school based or related events in order to enrich their understanding of the overall operations and climate of the district.
