DATA PRIVACY
The Connecticut State Department of Education (CSDE) treats data confidentiality and the privacy of student educational records very seriously. It complies with all federal laws including Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), state statutes, and guidelines to protect confidential data.
STUDENT USE OF SOCIAL MEDIA
NWR7 social media platforms are provided solely for the purpose of carrying out the educational and operational goals of the Board of Education. Any use of the information systems that is inconsistent with this purpose is prohibited. Student postings on the District’s social media platforms are subject to the District’s policies, including its “Acceptable Use” policies. The District reserves the right to remove any inappropriate materials from our platforms, and student violators will be subject to discipline, in accordance with District policies.
