Kindness in Motion ALS Golf Tournament

As some of you may know my father was diagnosed with ALS and has been living with the condition for four years. As an avid golfer he loved nothing more than to be out on the golf course with friends and family. However, due to the progression of the disease, he has been unable to play the game he loves for a few years now. Until now!

Enter the Stand Up and Play Foundation. Stand Up and Play makes sure that anybody with impaired mobility can regain the freedom and opportunity to engage in everyday activities, including golfing, through the use of paramobiles. These paramobiles act as golf carts/wheelchairs that are designed to move users around the course and stand them up to swing a golf club. The Foundation has been phenomenal to work with and have provided a paramobile for permanent use at Tunxis Country Club to ANYONE with impaired mobility.

The purpose of this Golf Tournament will be to raise as much money as possible and 100% of proceeds will be donated to the Stand Up and Play Foundation and the ALS Association CT Chapter in hopes that these paramobiles will become available to anyone with impaired mobility in Connecticut.

For more information, please see the attached flyer or contact me at bfritch@nwr7.orgKIM Golf Flyer.pdf

Brendan Fritch
